Christopher A. Walker

Founder, President

As President, Chris is responsible for C.A. Walker Construction's growth and continued operation as an honorable and efficient contractor with a valid reputation for completing all projects in a safe, timely, professional and economic manner.

His primary duties include guiding C.A. Walker’s continued advancement in the industry. He is significantly involved in client relationships and developing the C.A. Walker team.

During his career, Chris has successfully built more than 5 million square feet in commercial real estate. He has extensive experience constructing hospitals, office buildings, banks, retail centers, grocery stores, Medical Office Buildings, imaging centers, emergency centers, physician practices, post-acute care facilities and various commercial developments. 

Chris graduated with a BS in Finance from Texas A&M University, where he served in the Corps of Cadets. Today, he enjoys traveling with friends and family, raising exotic animals in his backyard, fly fishing anywhere from the Rocky Mountains to Russia and seeing his favorite musicians in concert.


Tommy Walker

Vice President

As Vice President, Tommy is responsible for managing C.A. Walker Construction's continued excellence across all project types. Tommy’s diverse background in construction includes projects ranging from small residential remodels to the ground up construction of major petrochemical facilities.  Upon graduation from Texas A&M University, Tommy began his construction career with Brown & Root Construction building facilities in the petrochemical, pulp and paper industries as well as off shore marine facilities in the Gulf of Mexico.  In 2002, he partnered with his brother at C.A. Walker Construction and has helped the company become one of the leading providers of healthcare construction in the Houston market.

He provides genuine expertise in all aspects of commercial construction having built multi-story office buildings, grocery stores, large retail centers, industrial warehouses in addition to his significant healthcare experience.  His healthcare construction includes but is not limited to Linear Accelerators, M.R.I’s, C.T.’s, Surgical Suites, Hyperbaric Wound Care facilities, Central Sterile Processing centers, Laboratories, Emergency Centers as well as patient bed spaces.

Tommy graduated with a BS in Construction Science from Texas A&M University, where he also served in the Corps of Cadets and was a member of the Fish Drill Team and Ross Volunteer Company. He has been a Life Member of The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo since 1994, where he served as Chairman of the Livestock Committee and is currently a member of the Board of Directors. Outside of the office, Tommy has a passion for wade fishing along the Gulf Coast, fly fishing in Alaska and catching billfish in Central America.  In spring, you can catch him extracting honey from his personal beehives; in fall, if he’s not hunting or fishing, you will most likely find him cheering on the good ol' boys of the Texas A&M Football team.
